THINGS TO DO DURING YOUR STAY AT EMBURARA FARM LODGE:
We can provide transportation to all the locations listed below as at extra cost.

• A short 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from the lodge, you reach Lake Mburo National Park with its elegant Rothschild giraffes, beautiful zebras, antelopes, and a lot more. A fascinating nature walk through the park truly makes this visit, unlike other parks. While touring through the park visit the Lake Mburo Conservation Education Centre.
• And then there is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the famous Mountain Gorillas. From Emburara Farm Lodge it’s approx. a 4 hours drive away. Whether you are so if you are going or coming from trekking gorillas have a stay at Emburara Farm Lodge and relax in comfort.
• Another great stop on the path from Emburara Farm Lodge is Kibale Forest National Park with its chimpanzee trekking programs. Kibale Forest NP is home to 70 mammal species, to include 13 species of primates. It’s a short 2 hours drive to Kibale Forest NP from Emburara Farm Lodge.

• The ever-so-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park with its rich wildlife, the park is home to over 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species. It’s also a short 2 hours drive to Queen Elizabeth NP from Emburara Farm Lodge.
• Mbarara itself has several popular lounges/pubs to enjoy an evening out.

• Visit the museums, tombs, and other historical sites.
• Do you play golf? Mbarara also has the Mbarara Golf Course

Find us along Ibanda Road in Mbarara, approximately one and a half kilometers from the Nyakyisharara airstrip. You turn off on your left and the one km stretch from the road sign leads you straight to the lodge.
